I’m currently working on an article for this aside. Please stay tuned.

Fall Phase 2

What the media states is somewhat true. Starbucks is increasing prices by about $.05 on all hand-made beverages, and increasing whole bean coffee by about $.50. This is due to the rising energy costs, whole bean coffee prices world-wide, and to continue to reward our partners with benefits, and Total Pay package. This rise in cost will be effective October 3rd.

We here in the Naples, FL region are excited to announce the arrival of lunch sandwiches to all of our retail stores. We will have ten sandwiches to choose from, as well as salads. Let me tell you, they are wonderful. I had the opportunity to sample each one. Very filling and I think the price is adequate. This lunch special is set to arrive October 2nd. You will not be disappointed.

Also, effective October 3rd, is the Fall Phase 2 transition. What this includes is the arrival of a new drink to put you in the fall mood. Maple Latte, Maple Macchiato, Maple Creme, Maple Frappuccino Blended Coffee, Maple Frappuccino Blended Creme, are the five new drinks arriving. Try them out before you make the gag face, customers were pretty grossed out by the thought of pumpkin and espresso, but it is a top favorite by customers once sampled.

An Old Friend Revisits!

Starting August 28, Starbucks will be transitioning to the Fall phase. Meaning, new products, whole bean coffee, drinks, and pastries. Pumpkin Spice Latte is back again on it’s 3rd season I believe, and it has definitely been successful. A little too sweet for me, but still a good drink for this time of the year. There is no word yet on the Cinnamon Dolce Latte’s return yet. I’m sure if it comes back, it will be in the Fall Phase 2 transition.

Besides the layout change of the products in the store, we are also for the first time ever releasing the Pike Place Starbucks card outside of the Pike Place store itself. As you know Pike Place was the first Starbucks ever, opening back in 1971. That store was the only store to this day that released the Pike Place Card. Now we can all have it soon, I would get one, and keep it. Collectors, get ready!

Starbucks is also releasing a copper based press in celebration for it’s anniversary, and speaking of, that’s another coffee we will be releasing again on the shelves. Anniversary Blend, originally released in 1987. Then the Pikes Place Blend.

I’ll of course update when possible. This is not all of the news. There is plenty more to come!
